Pore treatment

Creating controlled micro-injury around a widened pore so that healing tightens its opening.

Treatment time
20–40 min
Downtime
0–3 days
Sessions
3–6 sessions

How it works

A pore cannot be removed. What can be done is to make tiny wounds in the dermis around it — with fine needles or a laser — so that collagen fills in during healing and the opening looks tighter. That is why improvement comes in steps over several sessions rather than at once.

Used for

  • Widened pores on the nose and cheeks
  • Pores enlarged by heavy oil production
  • Pores accompanied by shallow acne marks

Cautions

  • No treatment removes pores permanently
  • They widen again unless oil production itself is addressed
  • Expect redness and flaking for a few days afterwards

Aftercare

  • Let the flaking of days three to five come off on its own
  • Be strict with sunscreen
  • Pause irritating skincare while the skin recovers
