Skin boosters (Rejuran, hydration injections)
Injecting material into the skin itself to improve texture and firmness — what is injected changes the purpose entirely.
- Treatment time
- 20–40 min
- Downtime
- 1–3 days
- How long it lasts
- 3–6 months
- Sessions
- 3–5 sessions
How it works
The substance is the treatment. Polynucleotides (the Rejuran family) support repair in damaged skin; hyaluronic-acid hydration boosters hold water and smooth the surface; collagen stimulators such as PLLA or PCL make the skin build its own collagen over months. Where filler adds volume to change shape, a booster changes the condition of the skin.
Used for
- Skin that reads rough from pores and fine lines
- Dry skin with no glow
- Wanting overall firmness without surgery or filler
Cautions
- It is not a one-off — plan on three to five sessions two to four weeks apart
- Injection marks and swelling last a day or two, and collagen stimulators can rarely form nodules
- Products differ in ingredient and approved use, so confirm the product by name
Aftercare
- Delay washing and make-up on the day, and do not rub the area
- Avoid sauna, alcohol and hard exercise for two to three days
- The effect builds across sessions, so do not judge it after one
